Tableau – Introduction

How does it feel when we have a big data to work with and we don’t have much time to research on the same to give some insight, predictions, etc. Now instead of wasting time on making different calculations with data, we have an intelligent tool which is called ‘ TABLEAU’. To visually analyzing the data, Tableau is a Business Intelligence tool which is used highly by many top-notch organizations. With Tableau, individuals can create and distribute an interactive and shareable dashboard, which shows the trends, predictions, variations, and density of the data in the form of different & attractive graphs, bar and charts. Tableau can connect to any file with different data sources, relational and Big Data sources to acquire and process data. This software allows data joining, blending and real-time collaboration, which makes it very unique. It is used by many organizations, businesses, academic researchers, and many government entities for visual data analysis.

I will be writing about this tool in details which will help all those aspiring data scientists who want to create, read, write, and modify Business Intelligence Reports using Tableau. Additionally, it will also be quite useful for those readers who would like to make their career in the field of Data science. Now, the best part of learning about this tool is that you are not required to be a master of any programming language; instead it just calls for a basic understanding of Computer Programming terminologies and Data analysis. Knowledge about some types of Graphs, Bar & Charts will be an added advantage.
